This pot was created, fired once and then shattered, allowing the different pieces to be refired with different glazes and colors. Once that was complete, it was reassembled like a three-dimensional jigsaw puzzle and fired again with horsehair added for the final effect.
This piece is 6" wide and 6 1/2" high.
Each piece is fired three times.
John has inscribed his name on each piece.
