Horsehair pottery originated from the practice of honoring fallen war horses by incorporating their hair into pottery. Native American's believed that the spirit of the horse remained. The horsehair is applied at the second firing and leaves its carbon imprint as part of the piece.
This piece is three and one half inches high and three and one half inches wide. One inch high and five inches high, this can be hand washed, not suitable for microwave or dishwasher.
